For a quarter of a century, on five continents, nomadism was a conscious choice of Canadian artist and architect Isabelle CYR.

Isabelle CYR's artistic work is an exploration of color, transparency and light. Without being limited by a technique or a medium, her work is in itself a journey into various artistic worlds: lacquer, linocut and printing, stamps, oils, watercolour, collage, photography. These different mediums carry the constant search for the timeless expression of fleeting and evanescent moments: the golden light of a morning, the vibrations of an abandoned place, the sky of a stormy evening... The light that emanates from her work expresses her wonder at discovering these new places and these fleeting moments.
